12 Jyotirling Yatra India

Day 1 – Arrive Mumbai

Arrive at Mumbai airport and transfer to hotel. Relax for 4-5 hrs and in the afternoon Visit Siddhivinayak Temple to take the blessings of Lord Ganesha to start the pilgrimage. Overnight Stay

Day 2 – Mumbai – Bhimashankar – Pune [Bhimashankar First Jyotirling]

After breakfast, proceed to Bhimashankar, a very old shrine, Bhimashankara (Our First Jyothirlinga) is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. It is in the Ghat region of the Sahyadri hills. Bhimashankar is also the source of the river Bhima, which flows southeast and merges with the Krishna river near Raichur. Arrive Pune in the Evening. Overnight Stay

Day 3- Pune – Grishneshwar – Aurangabad : [Grishneshwar, Our Second Jyothirling]

Today After breakfast Grishneshwar is an ancient pilgrimage site revered as the abode of one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. It is located  Near Daulatabad Aurangabad in Maharashtra. Daulatabad was once known as Devagiri. Overnight Stay

Day 4 – Aurangabad-Shani Mandir- Shirdi: (128 Kms / 4hrs) :

After breakfast, we proceed to visit  Shirdi, en route visit Shani Mandir. In Shirdi, visit the Khandoba Mandir, Samadhi Mandir Dwarakamai Mandir. Shirdi the divine land where Shirdi Sai Baba spends most of his life. Overnight Stay

Day 5 – Shirdi- – Tryambakeshwar- Nasik : [Tryambakeshwar, Our Third Jyothirlinga]

After breakfast, Today we depart from from Shirdi to Tryambakeshwar (Our Third Jyothirlinga) Tryambakeshwar located in Maharashtra, is revered   as one of the 12 Jyotirlinga shrines of Lord Shiva. Overnight Stay

Day 6 – Nasik – Indore

After breakfast drive to Indore, Reach Indore By Evening, free at leisure. Overnighjt stay.

Day 7- Indore – Ujjain – Indore : [Mahakaleshwara our Fourth Jyothirlinga] :

Ujjain, a historic capital of Central India in Madhya Pradesh is a venerated pilgrimage center enshrining Mahakaleshwara (Jyortirlinga), one of the Jyotirlinga manifestations of Lord  Shiva. Return back to Indore for your Night stay.

Day 8 – Indore – Omkareshwar- Indore – Ahmedabad : [Omkareshwar Our Fifth Jyothirlinga)

After Breakfast proceed your journey to Omkareshwar (Jyothirlinga) located in Madhya Pradesh, on the Mandhata hill on the banks of the Narmada is one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. It is located at a distance of about 12 miles from Mortakka in Madhya Pradesh. After darshan, depart to Indore. Have your Dinner and then you will be driven to the Railway station to board our Train to Ahmedabad or if not travelling by train then overnight in Indore.

Day 9- Arrive Ahmedabad

Arrive at  Railway station, where our local reprentative will meet you and transfer to Hotel, Remainder the day at leisure. Post Lunch half day city sightseeing. Overnight stay

Day 10 – Ahmedabad – Rajkot- Jalaram Mandir- Somnath :

After early breakfast proceed to Somnath by Car , en route  Visit JALARAM MADIR in Virpur ( if the temple is open), you will be reaching  Somnath in the evening. Check-in at hotel. Evening enjoy The Aarti. Overnight stay

Day11- Somnath [Somnath, Our Sixth Jyothirlinga] – Dwarka [Nageshwar, Our Seventh Jyotirlinga] :

Today in the Morning we visit the Somnath (Jyothirlinga), at Somnath Patan, near Veraval in Gujarat is a pilgrimage center held in great reverence throughout India. Somnath is situated on the south coast of Saurashtra. After Darshan, proceed to Dwarka, on Arrival, Check-in at hotel and then, Visit Dwarka Temple in The Evening. Nageshwar (Jyotirlinga) is regarded as one of the 12 Jyotirlinga Shrines of Shiva Overnight stay

Day 12- Dwarka – Bet Dwarka – Dwarka:

Today morning proceed to visit Rookmany Temple, Afternoon visit Bet Dwarka, Overnight stay

Day 13 – Dwarka – Ahmedabad :

After  breakfast Drive to Ahmedabad, evening free at Leisure. Overnight  stay

Day 14- Ahmedabad – Madurai [By Flight Via Mumbai or Chennai]:

Today you will be provided the transfer to Ahmadabad Airport to board flight to Madurai Via Mumbai or Chennai. On arrival at Madurai Airport our local representative  will meet you and transfer to the Hotel.

The city got its name from the drops of nectar (Mathuram) that fell from Shiva’s locks when he came to bless its people for constructing a temple for him, City tour begins with a visit to the Sri Meenakshi Sundareshwara temple with its towering gopurams and rare sculptures. Admire The highest point of the temple the hall of 1000 pillars built around 1560 BC, touch the sculpted pillars depicting the story of the beautiful princess of Madurai and her marriage to Lord Shiva. Evening, watch the pooja ceremony in Meenakshi Temple, Overnight stay

Day 15 – Madurai – Rameshwaram – Madurai (Rameshwaram, Our Eighth Jyotirlinga) :

Wake up  early in the morning to the chant of hymns is proud of the magnificent Meenakshi-Sundareswara Temple, depart from Madurai to Rameshwaram, which is 3-4hrs drive. Rameshwaram is one of the most significant pilgrimage centers in South India for both Shaivites (Shiv followers) and Vaishnavaites (Vishnu Followers). It was here that Rama offered thanks to Shiva. Return to Madurai for your night stay.

Day 16 – Madurai – Chennai – Tirupati [By Flight] :

morning flight to Chennai and then from therer drive to Tirupati, evening free to Relax at the relegious center of India. Overnight stay

Day 17 – Tirupati :

Visit the temple of Tirupati and the adjoining temples. Overnight in Tirupati.

Day 18 -Tirupati – Srisailam: [Srisailam, our Ninth Jyothirlinga]:

Today you will drive to Srisailam, This is one of the greatest Salivate shrines in India and it constitutes one of the 12 Jyotirlingam shrines of Shiva. The presiding deities here are Mallikarjuna (Shiva) and Bhramaramba (Devi). Overnight stay

Day 19 – Srisalem – Hyderabad:

After breakfast drive to  Hyderabad, on your arrival check-in to hotel. Overnght stay.

Day 20  – Hyderabad – Kolkata [By Flight] :

After breakfast, transfer to Hyderabad airport to board flight to Kolkata. On Arival at Airport our company representative will meet you and provide the assistance to  Hotel in Kolkata, Later on visit Kali Mata Mandir and relax, Overnight stay.

Day 21 – Kolkata excursion to Ganga Sagar :

Full day excursion to Ganga Sagar by road and then by ferry. Evening return to Hotel. Overnight stay

Day 22- Kolkata – Baidhyanath (Our Tenth Jyothirlinga) (Drive or Train)

After breakfast drive or by train towards Baidyanath. Overnight in Baidyanath.

Day 23 – Baidhyanath – Varanasi (Drive or Train) :

After breakfast  take the day train to Varanasi. Arrive at Varanasi Railway station where our company representative  will meet you and transfer to hote. Overnight  stay

Day 24 – Varanasi: (Vishwanath ,Our eleventh Jyotirlinga) :

Boat rides on the Ganges this morning and return back to the hotel for Breakfast Today visit some of the holy temples of the city which encapsulates the ambiance and the spirit of the city. The Durga Temple, better known as the ‘monkey temple’ on account of the large number of monkeys residing there (only Hindus can enter the inner sanctum.) and the Temple of Vishwanath (or Visheshwar, Lord of the Universe, popularly known as the Golden Temple), This Jyotirlingam is one of the twelve jyotirlingams of India. If time permits before returning to the hotel visit some of the silk brocade and weaving centers – a specialty of Varanasi. Overnight in Varanasi.

Day 25 – Varanasi – Delhi [By Flight] :

Today Flight from Varanasi to Delhi, Meet and arrival assistance at Airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 26 – Delhi – Haridwar  By Car

After breakfast drive to Haridwar, Afternoon arrival at Haridwar and  evening enjoy Ganga Aarti at Har – Ki – Paudi. Overnight stay

Day 27 – Haridwar – Guptakashi :

After early breakfast you will driven  to Guptkashi. Guptkashi, The name was given to the place as it is said to be the hiding place of Lord shiva when he was unwilling to give darshan to pandavs. 46 Kms Off Kedarnath, Guptakashi is the shrine at a height of 1319 mtrs.

Guptkashi will be the base camp / Hotel for Kedarnath Darshan.

Day 28 – Guptakashi – Kedarnath (Our Twelvth Jyothirlinga) :

Today morning we drive to Gaurikund (32kms by road & 14kms Trek), from where we trek to Kedarnath (3584 mts) for which ponies, dandies and kandies are available. Amidst the dramatic mountanscapes of the majestic Kedarnath Range stands one of the twelve “Jyotirlingas” of Kadar ji or Lord Shiva. At an altitude of 3584 Mts. and on the head of river Mandakini, the shrine of Kedarnath is amongst the holiest pilgrimages for the Hindus. Stay at Kedarnath.

Day 29- Kedarnath – Rudraprayag (75 Kms / 3 hrs) :

Today after breakfast, we trek down back to Gaurikund. From Gaurikund we drive down to Rudraprayag. Confluence of Alaknanda and Madakini rivers Rudraprayag.

Day 30  – Rudraprayag – Rishikesh :

Today we drive from Rudraprayag to reach the Rishikesh . Visit Ram Jhula, Lakshman Jhula. Attend one of the most beautiful religious ceremony, an evening aarti at the Triveni Ghat.

Day 31- Rishikesh – Haridwar – Delhi :

Morning depart to Delhi via Haridwar. Arrival at Delhi and transfer to Airport and connecting flight to your country or Hotel and next day you may catch the flight . End of Services
